Our commitment
The Journal of Energy Management and Economics (JEME) wants this website to be usable by everyone. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- The site is fully bilingual (Arabic and English), with the correct reading direction and language marked for each passage, so screen readers pronounce both languages correctly.
- Every function can be used with a keyboard; focus is always visible and a "skip to content" link is provided.
- Text has sufficient colour contrast, and pages work from small phone screens to large displays without horizontal scrolling.
- Your system setting to reduce motion is respected.
- Images have text alternatives.
Known limitations
- Manuscript submission, peer review and article pages are provided by the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which has its own accessibility characteristics.
- Some long reference documents (for example accreditation dossiers) contain complex tables that are easier to read on a large screen.
Report a barrier
If you find any part of this website difficult to use, please write to [email protected] and describe the page and the problem. We will reply and, where possible, provide the information in another format.
