1. فحص الاستلال الإلزامي
تخضع كافة المخطوطات المقدّمة لمجلة JEME لفحص رقمي إلزامي عبر خدمة Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate) خلال مرحلة الفحص المكتبي الأولي وقبل تكليف أي محكّم. (تُفعَّل الخدمة فور اكتمال عضوية المجلة في Crossref.)
2. الحدود المسموح بها للاستلال
- الحد الإجمالي: يجب ألا تتجاوز نسبة التشابه الإجمالية 20%.
- الحد من مصدر منفرد: يجب ألا تتجاوز نسبة الاقتباس من أي مصدر منفرد 5%.
- الاستثناءات: تُستثنى من حساب النسبة قائمة المراجع الموثقة، والنصوص القياسية التشريعية أو أسماء المنظمات والتعاريف القانونية الموثقة بأقواس تنصيص.
3. معالجة التجاوزات
- بين 20% و 30%: إذا كان التشابه ناجماً عن تداخل في الصياغة اللفظية أو شرح المنهجية، يُعاد البحث للمؤلف لإعادة الصياغة خلال مهلة 10 أيام كفرصة واحدة قبل اتخاذ قرار بالرفض.
- أعلى من 30%: يُرفض البحث مكتبياً فوراً (Immediate Desk Reject) ويُدرج في سجل التحفظات التحريرية.

1. Mandatory Plagiarism Screening
All manuscripts submitted to JEME undergo systematic similarity screening via Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) during the initial desk evaluation prior to peer review. (Activated once the journal’s Crossref membership is complete.)
2. Acceptable Thresholds
- Overall Similarity Index: Must not exceed 20%.
- Single-Source Similarity: Must not exceed 5% from any individual published source.
- Exclusions: Reference lists, standard institutional titles, legal statutes, and appropriately quoted passages are excluded from the calculated similarity.
3. Remediation and Desk Rejection
- Between 20% and 30%: If overlap is largely technical or attributable to methodology descriptions, the author is given one opportunity to revise within 10 days.
- Exceeding 30%: Results in immediate desk rejection and recording on the editorial monitoring log.
