Accreditation & Indexing Roadmap

Accreditation, Identifiers & Indexing Roadmap

The Journal of Energy Management and Economics (JEME) states only what is in place today and lists the remaining steps openly.

1. Institutional and national registration

  • Founding university order: being issued by the Presidency of Basrah University for Oil and Gas.
  • National legal deposit (Iraqi National Library and Archives, Baghdad): in progress.
  • ISSN (online): applied for; the number will be shown on every page once assigned.
  • Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ): the journal will be registered once its ISSN is assigned.

2. Identifiers and dissemination

  • Crossref DOIs: membership in progress; DOIs will be registered for every published article, including Issue 0.
  • ORCID: authors are asked to give their ORCID iD with their submission.
  • OAI-PMH: Dublin Core metadata can be harvested at https://jeme.buog.edu.iq/ojs/en/oai.
  • Google Scholar: article pages carry the citation metadata Google Scholar reads, and the full-text PDFs are open.
  • Preservation: published content is backed up daily; enrolment in the PKP Preservation Network will follow the ISSN (PKP PN requires one).
