About the Journal
The Journal of Energy Management and Economics (JEME) is a peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access scholarly journal published biannually by the College of Industrial Management for Oil and Gas at Basrah University for Oil and Gas, Iraq. JEME publishes high-quality original research, critical reviews, and applied case studies at the intersection of energy economics, industrial management, hydrocarbon logistics, and sustainable energy transitions.

The need for scientific research is growing day by day. This is evident in the increasing reliance of countries on scientific research, recognizing its importance and the need for it to support the knowledge economy and provide better conditions for human survival, security, and well-being. Scientific research is essential for the development and progress of nations because it reveals new facts, solves societal problems, enhances the economy, education, and innovation, helps us understand the world and continuously develop knowledge.
