Vision: To be the premier regional peer-reviewed scholarly platform bridging administrative sciences, economic analysis, and technological challenges within the energy sector, hydrocarbons, and renewable alternatives.

Mission: To advance theoretical and applied research through unwavering adherence to academic rigor and impartial peer review, delivering high-impact knowledge that empowers decision-makers, researchers, and professionals in energy facility management and economic policy formulation.

Aims & Scope (Six Core Tracks)

  1. Energy, Oil & Gas Economics: Pricing models, supply-demand dynamics, OPEC/OPEC+ policies, revenue impacts on national budgets, and sustainable development.
  2. Industrial Facility & Operations Management: Corporate governance, mega-capital project management, strategic planning, and operational risk mitigation.
  3. Hydrocarbon Supply Chains & Logistics: Optimization of transport, storage, digital distribution networks, and strategic reserves.
  4. Digital Transformation & AI in Energy: Machine learning in production analytics, digital twins, and automated control systems with managerial/economic feasibility.
  5. Renewable Energy & Energy Transition: Solar and green hydrogen feasibility, decarbonization pathways, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS).
  6. Industrial Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Critical infrastructure protection in fields/offshore platforms, and industrial crisis management.

Out-of-Scope Criteria (Desk Rejection Policy)

Purely technical, geological, or chemical manuscripts lacking managerial or economic dimensions are desk-rejected, alongside general non-energy studies and unrefined thesis extracts.

Publishing Model & Licensing

JEME operates under a pure Diamond Open Access model; publishing and reading are completely free without any author fees (Zero APCs). Authors retain unrestricted copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
